The team has been running since the start of York Bar Billiards League and had a nomadic existence at the Woolpack and Brew York before settling here for our third season. We are an enthusiastic team and enjoy the social aspects as much as the competitive ones, regular winners of the wooden spoon but with aspirations to win the league cup (one day!) The Ale House (also known as the Chopping Block) is situated in the heart of York down Walmgate. It has a good selection of cask and keg ales and provides really nice food. Our table sits in a room at the rear and easily accommodates all the players from the home and away teams.
